It was held in Chemnitz, European Capital of Culture 2025, the final conference of the 'CulTourData' project financed by the European Commission, within the COSME programme, to support SMEs, coordinated by Materahub with the participation of Basilicata Creativa and partners from Germany, Holland, Portugal, Spain and Slovakia.

With the support of EuJapan fest, three photo exhibitions linking two European cities and Japan are running until 29 February: Tartu, European Capital of Culture 2024; Wroclaw, European Capital of Culture 2016; and Matsudo, Japan.

Through the online platform Meet Up Ecoc! initiated by EuJapan Fest, European cultural capitals can get to know the profiles and contacts of numerous qualified Japanese artists available for their cultural grogrammes. Let's get to know them too.

On 15, 16 and 17 December, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, having achieved a small miracle in the city of Elefsina, one of the smallest cities that have hosted the institution, celebrates the completion of the official title year with a unique three-day celebration titled Mystery 1 Closing : Opening, A Ceremony.

The final conference of the European CulTourData project, a transformative journey at the intersection of tourism, culture and innovation, will be held in Chemnitz, European Capital of Culture 2025, on 10 and 11 January 2024.

There is a particular segment of the holiday industry that is origin tourism. Origin or roots tourism is characterised by those travellers who travel driven by the desire to get to know and explore the places where their relatives were born and of which, until then, they have only heard about. Basilicata, one of Italian regions mostly affected by emigration, stands out as a Research Lab for Roots Tourism. To this end, their ROOTS-in exchange is set as a regular annual meeting.

After Tartu 2024, Bodo 2024 also published the programme of the events that will take place in the European Capital of Culture year. While on 15 November, in the European Parliament building in Brussels, the three European Capitals of Culture 2024, Tartu, Bodo and Salzkammergut will present their programmes.
