The Birmingham 2022 Festival is excited to receive proposals from artists and cultural organisations based in Birmingham and the West Midlands in response to one of three specific creative briefs: NATURE (Green spaces, urban nature and canals), TRAMS (Social transport heritage), BLACK ART (The Black Art Movement in the West Midlands).
To celebrate Kaunas and Esch, the second-largest cities in Lithuania and Luxembourg, and both European Capitals of Culture in 2022 (alongside Novi Sad), the Lithuanian community in Luxembourg presents three photographic events at Annexe22.
The national jury appointed by the Minister of Culture, and chaired by Bernard Faivre d'Arcier, auditioned the nine municipalities and groups of municipalities shortlisted for the first edition of the label «Capitale française de la culture».
Arranging schoolyards, setting up art installations, Platonic Solids, as well as gazebos in which it is possible to hold outdoor classes, benches in school hallways, organizing reproductive health education, reading and nature clubs and relaxation and socializing zones in schools, are just some of the successfully implemented ideas of Novi Sad high school students who participated in the ‘Join, Find a Solution’ project.
