Today begins a series of interviews with the leading experts of the European Capitals of Culture.
The first one is with Steve Green. Green was appointed Chairman of the European Commission jury to select the European Capital of Culture from 2011 to 2016 and main author of the Guide to Candidates issued by the European Commission.

The Capacity Building for European Capitals of Culture project , launched in 2019 and funded by the European Union, offers professionals from a range of disciplines the opportunity to be part of a European database gathering a pool of experts to provide training and capacity-building services, in specific areas of interest and relevance, to designated upcoming European Capitals of Culture.
