Leeds 2023 has been awarded £380,000 from the National Heritage Lottery Fund to develop creative projects showcasing the history and stories of Leeds’ communities and its people.  

Leeds 2023 is looking for an exceptional individual to take over as Chair of Leeds Culture Trust and lead the team towards an extraordinary Year of Culture in 2023. 

LEEDS 2023 and Leeds Dance Partnership announce support for dance and movement based artists and organisations in Leeds. Leeds has selected 5 independent dance and movement artists and organizations. As part of their planning for their Year of Culture, they will work closely with these artists and organizations to develop exciting new projects that complement the world-class dance offering in their city.

LEEDS 2023 will be an explosion of colour, noise and brilliance that will show the world in the city and the city to the world. They’re on the hunt for a Research and Evaluation Partner to help they measure the impact their extraordinary Year of Culture – pre, during and post 2023.

Leeds 2023 will be a landmark year of culture for the city and region. Their ambitious and ground-breaking programme will transform people’s perceptions of Leeds, confirming it as an international centre of cultural activity and cementing its reputation as a cultural giant in the world.
