The ‘Novi Sad 2022 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation has opened a call for the ‘Making Art that Matters!’ training, which will be held in Novi Sad from 12 – 18 April.

How will the future be? what legacy will the European capital of culture leave behind?  Timisoara 2023 has tried to answer these questions during a meeting held in recent days.

The International Day of Happiness, celebrated on the 20th of March, returns to Kaunas, Kaunas District and all of Lithuania again this year: “Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022” invites you to celebrate it for the fourth time, under the theme “Time to rise”.

The film ‘Portráidí Criathraigh’ (Bog Portraits), directed by Ríonach Ní Néill and Joe Lee will premiere online on Monday March 1st as part of Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture.

Supernatural Togetherness is the first edition of Art(e)facts, a project organized by the Architecture and Territory programme of Guarda’s bid for European Capital of Culture 2027.

"EYE on the Edge" is an exciting new festival created by young people taking place from 23 to 25 April 2021. Originally planned as a 2-day festival in Galway City, the festival is now going fully online due to the ongoing pandemic. As such the festival will now happen in multiple locations right across Galway, Ireland, Europe and beyond.

Leeds 2023 will be a landmark year of culture for the city and region. Their ambitious and ground-breaking programme will transform people’s perceptions of Leeds, confirming it as an international centre of cultural activity and cementing its reputation as a cultural giant in the world.
