In May 2022, the Shadow Play Theatre KAKASHIZA is scheduled to organize their performance tour in Europe, including this year’s European Capitals of Culture Esch (Luxembourg) and Kaunas (Lithuania). Their shadow fantasy theater works and hand shadow performances have been highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad.

La Valletta 2018, Blitz: Open digital residency

Blitz, the contemporary art space in Valletta, is inviting applications for Open Digital Residency. This is a three-month residency for selected artists from various art genres, which will include a research period and the exhibition on the digital platform "Open". The jury will be made up of four experts, including Ms Alexadra Pace, founder of BLITZ and the photographer who had a shooting in Aomori Prefecture for a photography project “the European Eyes on Japan/Japan Today” vol. 20. Just to showcase some of the best live performances, DJ sets, new media art installations and to share knowledge through lectures, documentaries and workshops, in a converted tram depot called MultipleXity, in Timisoara, Romania.
