Go 2025 ! A call for peace

In Nova Gorica (Slovenia) and Gorizia, which will be the European Capital of Culture in 2025, a heartfelt call for peace in Israel and Palestine was launched by the mayors Samo Turel and Rodolfo Ziberna.

On Wednesday 20 September, the European capitals expert panel recommended the city of Skopje (North Macedonia) for the title of European Capital of Culture 2028 “beyond the EU”. Oulu is the European Capital of Culture in 2026. In 2026 all eyes will turn to the North when Oulu and its 39 partner municipalities from Northern Finland will be filled with culture, art, and the power of community spirit.
