Many events for this month of October in Valletta, the European capital of culture for 2018. Among the main events EcocNews points out Altofest.

The concert of the world-famous percussionist Evelyn Glennie and the experimental musician from Senta, Szilárd Mezei, will be held on 9 October at the City Concert Hall, starting at 8 p.m. Their concert, which represents an interesting artistic combination, will be an introduction to the last programme arch of the European Capital of Culture – Other? Europe.

The multi-year project of the Salon Concerts is part of the Salzkammergut 2024 program line "Power and Tradition" and starts in October with two dates in the post office building in Bad Ischl. In the concerts on October 22 and 28, compositions by mostly forgotten and/or expelled composers will be performed. The search for "forgotten notes" and the reconstruction of fates is always an adventure with an open outcome. These evenings are to be experienced as homages.
