Veszprém and Bakony-Balaton region hosts the world: 29 cities from around the globe to be exact, throughout the year. Guest cities from Japan to Jamaica have 2 weeks to showcase their culture within the framework of Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture’s InterUrban event series, carried out by well connected Hangvető.

"Look in to my ice" is an initiative to enhance emotional engagement and conscious awareness towards the disappearance of glaciers and polar ice. 

The three European Capitals of Culture for 2024, Bad Ischl (Austria), Tartu (Estonia) and Bodo (Norway) have announced on their websites and social channels the dates of the opening ceremonies of their cultural programmes.

Arts of Survival Documentaries has selected eight filmmakers to capture Southern Estonia on the topic of “Arts of Survival”, the artistic concept of European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.

Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava (STL) and Davvi - Center for the Performing Arts are looking for 4 Estonian artists and 4 Norwegian artists for a collaboration project, which aims to find choreographic interventions to the topics of public space.
