On Tuesday, 10 September, in Liepāja Theatre, the foundation "Liepāja 2027 Foundation" signed an official cooperation agreement with the largest bus company in the Baltic region "Lux Express".
The application process for this year's second Liepāja cultural projects competition begins.
To drive the full implementation of the Liepāja 2027 programme and its upcoming projects, foster robust partnerships, and spearhead diverse international collaborations, the Liepāja 2027 Foundation has announced two new job opportunities – Project Director and International Project Coordinator.
Join they for two days of practical workshops on attracting and developing audiences. They look forward to welcoming Kurzeme culture professionals who are involved in organising events for young audiences, attracting new audiences, and developing audience strategies on a daily basis.
In 2027, the European capitals of culture will be Liepaja (Latvia) and Evora (Portugal). Liepāja is a state city in western Latvia, located on the Baltic Sea. It is the largest city in the Kurzeme Region and the third-largest city in the country after Riga (European capital of culture in 2014) and Daugavpils. It is an important ice-free port.
