Wood meets the future, tradition meets design: in Seiffen, the toy village in the Ore Mountains, we are once again celebrating craftsmanship.

In August 2025, toymakers will gather in Seiffen with colleagues from across Europe to showcase their work: wooden construction kits that fit together like Tetris blocks, wooden lanterns, music boxes, fairytale figures, such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but also classic Christmas decorations such as incense-burning figurines – the whole range of playful and creative ways that wood can be used. Craftspeople will also meet young designers to help them adapt their products to contemporary design trends. Trying out the toys and join­ing in the fun and games is expressly encouraged!

Tickets are now available for the Toymakers' Festival 2025 in Seiffen! From 29 to 31 August, wooden toy makers from all over Europe will show just how innovative this ancient craft can be. Tradition meets design, with modern interpretations of products such as wooden lanterns, music boxes, fairytale figures, construction kits and classics such as the smoker.

The festival expressly invites visitors to join in. whether it's a workshop, demonstration or hands-on station - here you can turn, play and marvel. Guests can take part in workshops, experience demonstrations and become active themselves at interactive stations. The programme is aimed at anyone interested in craftsmanship, design and cultural exchange, families, professionals and the curious.

The former adventure pool in Seiffen will be converted into a festival location for the first time. Where once there was vacancy, there is now festival flair and wooden art between water slides.
