Five days of intense work, meetings, and visits. One interminable day in Tokyo. Four days in Okinawa, where everything constantly harks back to the past of American bombings and occupation. This is the program prepared by the dedicated Eu Japan Fest team, led by Deputy Secretary General Jiro Kogi, for the representatives of the cities that will be European Capitals of Culture until 2030 in the second year of "Meet Up Ecoc Face to Face." 

Next Wednesday July 15th in Tokyo, "Meet Up ECoC! 2026 One-to-One Sessions," organized by the EU Japan Fest Committee, will take place. This is the second year that this important meeting has taken place between representatives of the European Capitals of Culture and artists, curators, producers, cultural professionals, and representatives of cultural organizations or institutions based in Japan.

 Last week the annual General Committee meeting of Eu Japan Fest was held in Tokyo, the non-governmental organization that has supported the exchange between Japanese and European cultures since over thirty years by collaborating with the European Capitals of Culture.

After the success of the 2022 edition, the Japanese Nami Airando festival is back again this year.

An important visit by Eu Japan fest to Kaunas for a discussion on a series of cultural activities aimed at making part of the Japanese artistic and cultural world known in Lithuania.
