Growing as an association at a European level and having the opportunity to show as many people as possible what it means to be part of a cultural volunteering association has always been part of the objectives of the Volontari Open Culture 2019 association.

Since EcocNews has been online, just after the pandemic, we have been doing a series of interviews with cultural managers and European Capital of Culture experts. From ceramics to the goldsmith's art, from wood to crochet, from digital art to the recovery of ancient manufacturing traditions. It is a true mosaic of Lucanian excellence that 44 artisans, makers and designers from all over Basilicata will present from 1 to 5 May as part of the third edition of 'Fucina Madre', the handicraft and design exhibition set up, for this edition, in the spaces of Le Monacelle, in Via Riscatto 15, in Matera, European Capital of Culture for 2019.
