From 12 to 28 August the Small Reboots exhibition will be held at the Museum of Contemporary art Vojvodina (Novi Sad, Serbia) with some Japanese artists such as Sachiko Kodama, Ai Hasegawa, Okada Hiroko, Takanori Ishizuka, Tomohiko Hayashi. In addition, training sessions with students are scheduled from 1st to 21st August. The artists Sachiko Kodama and Ai Hasegawa will participate.
The ‘Novi Sad — European Capital of Culture’ Foundation has announced a public call for sculptural and architectural solutions for the appearance of the sculpture dedicated to Mitar Subotić Suba, the pioneer of electronic music in Serbia. The sculpture will be placed right on the Suba’s Plateau, at the entrance to Liman Park, as a joint initiative of the Mitar Subotić Suba Foundation and the Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture Foundation.
The exhibition presents artists from two different generations. The common quality of their works – the ability to immerse viewers into exceptional and therapeutic audio, virtual and video environments.
Since the very beginning, Esch2022 has embraced the concept of culture in all its dimensions and in accordance with the European Commission's criteria defining the concept of European Capitals of Culture.
In Novi Sad (Serbia), the NEO Festival starts on 17 June. On 6 July (Galerija Matice srpske, H 20:00), with Eu-Japan Fest support , cellist Mr Shizuka Mitsui and violinist Ms Yukiko Uno will perform with pianist Mr Pavle Krstić. Masterclasses will also be held by the participating musicians at this festival.
