i-Portunus provides artists with mobility options to several target locations where they could gather experiences and collaborate with the host cities in a duration ranging from a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 60 days.  The call is open for 18+ individuals or groups (up to 5 members) in the music sphere who wish to gain experiences both for the creative process as well as shows/performances in cities which participate in the Creative Europe programme.  

The opportunity comes with individual financial support of €3,000 maximum; the execution phase will take place between 1st June and 30th November 2021. Related to the i-Portunus Programme, Veszprém-Balaton 2023 and Salzkammergut 2024 offer a chance for artists to familiarise themselves with the atmospheres of cities which have won the European Capital of Culture title, compose and perform in these according to the following plans: 

Veszprém-Balaton 2023: Concerts and workshops organised in cooperation with local institutions and schools in UNESCO City of Music title holder Veszprém and the surrounding Balaton region; Links and ties with musicians of the city and across the region with the aim of further collaboration; Free accommodation in Veszprém (up to 5 persons).

Salzkammergut 2024: Links and ties with musicians and concert organisers in Bad Ischl and the region with the aim of further collaboration

The two ECoC cities are able to offer a preliminary declaration of intent. The opportunities listed above will be provided by VEB2023 and Salzkammergut 2024 programmes in the event that the submitted application is selected as a winner by i-Portunus.
