A wide vision project, supported by key strategic partners such as Ashoka, the world's largest network of innovative, visionary and revolutionary social entrepreneurs to enable social and environmental change, and Holis, an interdisciplinary community working on the most critical ecological and social challenges of our time.

Application by August 20, 2024.
Main goal: to encourage the meeting and exchange of best practices between social innovators and local enterprises, associations, organizations in order to enhance their services, increase their social impact, design new development strategies and improve the quality of life in the city through a participative and inclusive community approach.

The residencies will take place according to the following schedule:
3 residencies in 2024 (September - December)
3 residencies in 2025 (January - April)

Each residency will last a maximum of 45 days (1 ½ months)

The headquarters will be Casa Netural Gorizia: a coworking and coliving space located in Via Rastello 19 and created to reinvigorate the historical center of Gorizia by promoting a collaborative and inspiring way of living through the connection between digital nomads, social innovators, creatives and curious citizens. A 130 square meter historical house with rooms, workspaces and kitchen, where people can feel at home, work on their projects and start new collaborations.

Individual innovators, couples and/or families can participate.

Accommodation and travel provided
The residences will be free of charge and Netural Coop will offer the following services to the selected people, without additional costs:

Accommodation: social innovators in residence will live in Casa Netural Gorizia and will have at their disposal a single, twin or double room (in case of a family also triple or quadruple) with kitchen and bathroom shared with eventual guests in the coliving house (maximum 2 people). They will be able to use the coworking space, the wifi internet network and related equipment.

Networking: innovators will have the opportunity to get to know organisations, enterprises, local institutions and citizens thanks to the facilitation of Netural Coop Impresa Sociale, which will organise meetings, experiences and proposals to explore the country, its excellences and stories.

Travel: travel expenses (within the European area) will be refunded by the organisation.

A city on the border between Italy and Slovenia and rich in culture and history, Gorizia is preparing to become European Capital of Culture 2025. A unique, multicultural and incredibly fecund scenario that will offer social innovators the opportunity to actively contribute to the change and regeneration of an entire evolving urban area.

Organiser
Netural Coop is a social enterprise committed to enhancing the unexpressed potential of territories, enterprises and communities. It is based in Matera, where it founded the Casa Netural project in 2012, and operates internationally coordinating processes of co-design, civic activation, entrepreneurial development and much more. It was among the Project Leaders of the Matera 2019 cultural programme, contributing both to the candidacy phases and to the conception and coordination of the Mammamiaaa project.
