Thousands of people enjoyed the show “Around Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony: Rebuilding Humanity”, organized by Cáceres 2031 and held in the historic city, transforming it into a grand stage.

Cáceres 2031 has opened a call for artist residencies today. This initiative forms part of the conceptual framework of Cáceres’ bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031. The program seeks to create spaces for encounter, movement, and care where European artists work alongside local communities to create, research, and share creative processes.

The Cáceres 2031 European Capital of Culture Consortium will set up the Office for Cultural Activation next year, which will operate as a permanent regional structure.
