We asked managers of the European capitals of culture from 2022 to 2025, five same questions to understand their expectations in a clear and concise way. Each interview is preceded by a fact sheet on that European capital of culture. The format is the same for all. At the end of the series of interviews we will try to make a synthesis of objectives, trends, expectations by the Ecocs. In 2024 the Salzkammergut with Bad Ischl will be the European Capital of Culture. Bad Ischl - Salzkammergut 2024 is looking for as soon as possible a project manager (focus on music) who will be part of the program team. It is a full-time job based in Bad Ischl.

From now on, the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl - Salzkammergut 2024 boldly calls itself “The Originals 2024” (“Die Originale 2024”). This brand offers all the freedom under which a diverse program can develop. At the same time, it reflects the region. The motto “No Copies * No Limits” shows that Die Originale 2024 is unique but does not close itself off. It has no boundaries.
