At the press conference on February 26 Manuela Reichert and Stephan Rabl presented the new brand of the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl - Salzkammergut 2024.

The Salzkammergut region, with Bad Ischl as its banner town, is the first inner-Alpine region to hold the title of European Capital of Culture. 23 communities in rural areas are working together to make art and culture tangible in every niche of everyday life, no matter how small. A region that already celebrates its traditions and culture shows its originality and combines with the new.

The motto “No Copies * No Limits” makes it clear that the region is an original and that it boldly connects with Europe and the whole world. The Original 2024 tells stories of the past, present and future and is host to culture in a wide variety of ways.

For the spring they are planning a communication tour through the region. They will stop in each individual municipality and talk to all those interested and curious about The Originals 2024. They will provide more information and the exact tour dates in the upcoming newsletter and here.
