Bodø2024 and Sparebank1 Nord-Norge Samfunnsløftet announce funds for the project European Cabins of Culture, which is part of the programme for Bodø2024. Bodø and the county of Nordland are European Capital of Culture in 2024. They want to fill tourist cabins and other hiking destinations with artistic and cultural content.
The three European Capitals of Culture for 2024, Bad Ischl (Austria), Tartu (Estonia) and Bodo (Norway) have announced on their websites and social channels the dates of the opening ceremonies of their cultural programmes.
What is Europe in reality and how can it be shaped by our imaginations? What do we aspire for it to be – beyond politics, economics, and national borders? What will it take to get us there? How, through the metaphor of the pavilion, can we rethink Europe?
Would you like to participate in developing Bodø of the future? Five major sculpture projects will now really make their mark on Bodø. It also means that the planned Coastal Path will have an extra dimension. The Norwegian Sculptors' Association, Bodø2024 and Bodø Municipality are now seeking five artists for Kunstkanten; a new and unique outdoor exhibition space in Bodø.
