Gardens are full of secrets and stories. Up among the highest branches of the tallest tree something glitters and shines. Deep down in the dark stone well a creature wriggles and whines. What has happened to Muxu, the tail-less cat, and how will he solve the mystery of the disappearing water?
Everything in the garden is dying and Muxu must act fast. Will he manage to save his beloved friends and home? Join us on this whimsical adventure called The Secret Garden, a performance for five to ten-year-old children and their families. Experience the thrill of watching characters from old Maltese folklore come to life and take on one of the biggest challenges of their lives.
A live performance in Laparelli Gardens is already exciting enough but to treat your little ones even further we have Included the gift of a limited edition, handmade book in your family ticket price. This book features aspects of the storyworld that will take adults right back to the joy of their childhood and inspire children to find the magic in everything that is around them.
Showing for one weekend only, between the 16th and 18th July, at Laparelli Gardens, Valletta (City Gate Ditch), The Secret Garden is a co-production brought to you by the Valletta Cultural Agency and Lignin stories.
When: Friday, 16 July 2021 at 19:00 to Sunday, 18 July 2021 at 20:30.
