The Évora 2027 Association announces the open call “O Nosso Laboratório / Our Lab”, designed to enrich the artistic and cultural programme of Évora_27 – European Capital of Culture, by promoting cultural diversity through the participation of international creators. With a total budget of €2.000.000, up to 38 projects will be selected.

In 2027, Evora, Portugal, will be the European Capital of Culture together with the Latvian city Liepaja. To strengthen its cultural program, the Evora '27 association has launched two open calls.

Évora_27 – European Capital of Culture, the University of Évora, Projecto DME and Lisboa Incomum announce an Open Call for music submissions for the project “Lá nas Árvores”, with its first cycle “Feel the Earth”, under the artistic direction of Ana Telles, taking place from 23rd to 26th October 2025, in Évora (Portugal).

Liepāja 2027 is seeking professionals in the creative industries — project management, production, communication, and marketing — to jointly deliver an ambitious cultural program featuring hundreds of events from 2025 to 2027.

The European Commission has published the Second Monitoring Report on the progress of Évora_27 – European Capital of Culture, stating that the management of the initiative “is on the right track.”
