Burgos 2031 offers awards to artists, creators and cultural professionals to pursue a cultural project of their choice in different disciplines. Following the announcement in June 2024 of awards by Burgos2031, the first call for artists and cultural professionals opens.

Artists and cultural professionals in the following sectors may apply to these three categories with 4 winners in each one:

1.- Theater/ Dance

2.- Music

3.- Performing arts/ workshops involving participation/ events of poetry/Videoart Session

Eligibility criteria
To apply, you must be at least 18 years old. Legally reside in a country in Europe. Be an artist or cultural professional from the cultural and creative sectors covered in the open call. Your artistic practice will be in live performance or creating live artistic experiences as theater, music, dance or performance.

When to apply
The Open call is available from 6th June 2024 until 19th July 2024. Inclusive and sustainable Accessibility and inclusivity are at the heart of Burgos 2031.

What projects are supported through the open call?
You can apply with a proposal to carry out a project with several partners o members of an artistic group.

How to apply?

First you must register at the Contract Spanish Estate Platform here.

Then, please submit your application by mail to the following address: Área de cultura de la Sociedad Municipal ProBurgos sito en la Paseo Sierra de Atapuerca s/n.

Open hours: from 9 am to 2 pm.

Sending an closed envelope the Annex I with three parts:

A.- Certification of economic soundness

B.- Selection of the category that you apply and letter of motivation.

C.- Porfolio with description of the project or event with some pictures and a biography of all the participants.

The deadline to submit your application is 14pm midday (BST) on 19th July 2024.

They  will let you know by 1st September 2024 if your application has been successful.
