The Oulu2026 organisation is offering an unmissable opportunity in autumn 2022 for partners to become part of the capital of culture programme. The autumn 2022 Open Call is specifically aimed at large-scale projects that take several years to prepare or carry out. The call for applications for individual, communal projects will be announced nearer 2026.

The exhibition, which will be on display at the Massenoire (Esch-Belval) from June 4 to September 25, 2022, is organized by Ensad Nancy (École nationale supérieure d'art et de design) and the French Ministry of Culture as part of the European Capital of Culture Esch2022. It carries the label PFUE - Présidence française du Conseil de l'Union européenne (French Presidency of the Council of the European Union). The exhibition is curated by Christelle Kirchstetter & Patrick Beaucé.

The final event of the ECoC SME Interreg Europe project happening in Matera and online on the 9th and 10th of June to know more about the experience of past and future ECoCs.

The Municipality of Elefsina and the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture invite artists to co-shape the image of the city. The project concerns the creation of the Telephone Distribution Boxes located in Elefsina and Magoula, with themes inspired from the city of Elefsina, its history and culture, as well as the main axes of the ECoC.

On 12-13 May, Kaunas – European Capital of Culture 2022 will open a new Summer Stage, the essential cultural gift of the warm season for the city. Every Thursday to Sunday until mid-September, Kaunas Town Hall Square will host concerts, performances and other creative activities by Lithuanian artists and international guests.
