Liepāja and Évora, European Capitals of Culture in 2027, strengthen cooperation. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding was held on 14 April, at 10 a.m., at the Palácio D. Manuel, in Évora, as part of the State Visit of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Latvia to Portugal.
Broumov and Budejovice are the cities in the Czech Republic that passed the preselection and entered the short list to become the European Capital of Culture for 2028. The Swedish Arts Council today published a call for applications for the designation as European Capital of Culture 2029.
