Altitude/Attitude is a project created in Plovdiv and for Plovdiv, provoked by the open call of the Plovdiv 2019 Foundation - Legacy 2 for the development of the city's creative potential and the establishment of Plovdiv as an active cultural and tourist centre.

InlanDimensions International Arts Festival, inaugurated in 2019 in three cities including Wroclaw (Poland), the host city of the European Capital of Culture 2016, opens on 24 September. Adapted to the new environment of theatre and film, the festival is held online and has launched a new VOD platform for theatre works. The Culture Summit is organized by the world organisation of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) to guarantee the place of culture in global debates on sustainable development and to encourage networking, peer-learning and the sharing of good practices between cities and local governments from across the world. Held in Bilbao, Jeju and Buenos Aires in previous years, the 4th UCLG Culture Summit will be hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality on 9-11 September 2021 in Izmir, a global actor of local cultural policies.

From the end of September until the beginning of December 2021, Esch2022 invites people to take part in panel discussions, workshops and special events with artists and project partners. These serve to prepare and help shape the REMIX Opening on 26 February and show the various facets of Esch2022 in advance; they offer the opportunity to help shape the future of the 19 participating municipalities. From 7 to 11 August 2021, in Marconia di Pisticci (Matera - Italy), the 22nd edition of Lucania Film Festival will feature a rich parterre of guests. Following the announcement in the last few days about Abel Ferrara’s participation as very special guest, the event, curated by Allelammie Cultural Association, will also feature Franco Arminio, Luca Manfredi and Boss Doms.
